The Isle of Seil lies some 12 miles south of Oban. Seil is separated from the mainland only by the thinnest of sea channels which is spanned by the elegant 18th century humpback Clachan Bridge, popularly known as the 'Bridge over the Atlantic' whilst it is only short of 15 miles south of Oban it still takes around a 40 minutes confortable drive to arrive due to the nature of the roads and the scenery.

Again, Seil being connected to the mainland by bridge means there's no need to take a ferry.
